Dandy Dude to stretch winning run in Romford’s Coral On TV Maiden Trophy - Heat 1
No one can pick any holes in Dandy Dude’s recent efforts, and despite the fact that he performed at the lower grade, it is hard to look elsewhere for the winner of Coral On TV Maiden Trophy - Heat 1, being held at Romford on Monday, September 10, 2012.
P. Young’s trainee has been performing consistently well over the past few weeks. He regained his momentum with a classy victory on August 11th, when he dominated the affair all the way through.
It was such an outstanding act that the whole opposition looked quite helpless. As a result, an easy 1/2-length win came to him.
On the following journey, he managed to finish among top-3 despite getting bumped and crowded. An unlucky ride did not dent his confidence, as he produced a couple of thrilling efforts at the end of last month.
After proving too solid for his opponents on August 23rd, the son of Express Rock perpetuated his good work, and ensured a comprehensive win last time around. In a 400 metres contest, he led from pillar to post, grabbing the big prize by one and a half lengths.
He is in such an excellent rhythm that a step up in class will be no concern for him. Only a clean run will be enough for the dashing hound to make it to the next round with ease.
The race will be begin at 19:27 GMT. It carries a handsome cash prize worth £150. Other hounds in the pack are: Quarterland Clas and Droopys Chief, Alis Avenger, Kingsmill Spirit and Derders Mia.
This ground has not been a happy hunting ground for Derders Mia. Alis Avenger made a promising start to her career, showing a couple of fascinating performances at the A2 level. Her latest outing was an unlucky one though.
Droopys Chief’s return to the white vest could work the oracle. Quarterland Clas can win the battle, if he gets an early lead. Otherwise, he will have no chance whatsoever. Kingsmill Spirit is stepping up following a stylish success at Wimbledon.
There are a few veteran hounds in the crew, but Dandy Dude’s winning rhythm makes plenty of appeal. We wish the best of luck to all the hounds.
