Dang! Why do the employees at walmart ALWAYS sound so rude on the phone?

I don't live very close to our walmart, so if I need something new and I'm not sure they have it, I'll call and make sure first. EVERY SINGLE TIME I call they will answer with an attitude "Walmart" then when I ask to be connected to someone in the specific dept. I need they don't even say anything..they just click me over. Then, the person will answer and they sound rude, too! I can't count the times I've called and asked to be connected to whichever dept. and been hung up on. I can hear them answer and put the phone back down. It's like- if you don't like your job, get a new one! Why are the majority of walmart employees so rude? Is it THAT bad?

Tell me about it, when i call they usually just put me on hold and then forget about me.
