Question:

Dangerous to not shower after jacuzzi?

My boyfriend routinely sits in the jacuzzi every night for about 20 - 30 minutes, and then he doesn't feel the need to shower before going to sleep. He justifies this because he showers in the morning. Besides the fact that it grosses me out that he doesn't shower, I am sincerely worried about the possible effects that this might have on his health. Anybody know if this could be dangerous for him? It's ironic that I am trying to convince him to shower before he sleeps because of the fact that the water we shower in of course contains chlorine as well. But I just feel like the levels of chlorine exposure in the jacuzzi is what might make this more dangerous for him, combined with the fact that he then lets it stay on him for about 8 hours (throughout the night). Any help?

  1. well is bad for your body, for your skin if you go in the shower if you use cold water, cause the jacuzzi is hot water and will be bad for you

i hope i help you with something

    kisses bye

  2. I agree with you. Jacuzzi type baths are renowned for transmitting staph and other type of skin infections.

  3. This jacuzzi wont hurt him. Much less willt he chlorine. Only thing that could hurt him is if he stays in too long and gets overheated... or falls over the side of the pool. :]
