Dangers of Living @ Mt. Saint Helens?

Question

A friend of mine has offered me a vacation to stay near the bottom of Mt. Saint Helen's for a few months. Now a huge fatal volcano erupted there in 1980 which is pretty cool but not if you were there when it happened. Now I'm not really worried that it is going to erupt again anytime soon but I was wondering if you guys knew any other dangers, associated with the volcano eruption, that could either destroy the house I was living in or harm me?

Outside of a massive mudslide, outgassing, or eruption, a dormant volcano is no more dangerous than any other mountain.
