Dangers of a ouiji board????

My little sister who is almost 13 started playing with a ouiji board with her friends 2 nights ago. Ofcourse they didnt use a real ouiji board but they made there own ouiji board exactly how a real one would be except they wrote their names at the bottom. And as the wedge they used a thick hoop earing.

They wanted me to play with them but i was really scared and was unsure. And i didnt think anything would happen. So it was mi sister Hannah, and 2 of her friends autumn and carter and they are all 12. They started asking it questions like what is your name? and how old were you when you died? and who are you closet by? and who did you like the most out of us three? and it really started scaring me when every question they asked like who are you closest by? and who do you like the most? and who do you think is the prettiest? it always said my sister.

Im not sure if it was because it was at our house that (cole was his name) liked her because it was our house or what? Well our dad died 5 years ago and they asked is hannah's dad there? and he said yes. so they asked if they could talk to him and he said yes again. but then when it said they were talking to him. (the spirt) moved quickly over good-bye?

It really looked like they were pushing the piece too but i diecided to ask them to cover there eyes with something and then i turned the board and it still moved to an exact awnser. So what could possibly happen when playing a ouiji borad? Does it really work? What time of day does it work best?

Nothing will happen when using the ouija board.  Your imaginations are working very well.  The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It is meant for two or more players so it will not work very well if you try to use it alone.  It has no supernatural powers.  It does not communicate with the dead and it does not contact spirits.  It does not open any portals to the underworld or to anywhere else.  The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.

playing with a ouiji board is like talking to Satan. it is very bad. dont let your sister play things like that. i dont know what can happen, but i know that people shouldnt be messing with that stuff.

i didn;t kno u could make ur own ouijii board, but i think it does work. There really are ghosts. It would probably work best at night. As for what could possibly happen, I don't think anything is too bad. Evil spirits aren't that common, and so you probably wouldn't meet one. Plus, you would know you had an evil spirit before you ever got to playing Ouijii.
