Alves, the full back comments on the Catalan coach’s coming leave in the future but hopes to make the best of the time left with him.
The twenty-seven-year-old Brazilian Right back, Daniel Alves has commented on the apparent leave of Barcelona’s beloved coach, Pep Guardiola.
The Right back from Camp Nou said he believes that it is only a matter of time before Guardiola leaves the squad and even the manager recently suggested that he might be leaving the club at the end of the season.
Pep Guardiola came on the head coach position in 2007 first with the second team and then replaced Frank Rijkaard in 2008.
The Spanish manager’s contract at Camp Nou expires at the end of the 2011-12 season and it seems that the manager has planned to leave the club and relocate, stating his “time is ending here in Barcelona.”
Josep Guardiola is reported to have said that
Daniel Alves, who has been a vital part of the squad at Camp Nou ever since Guardiola took the reins in the 2008-09 season commented on his coach, "We follow him with our eyes shut,”
In an interview he went on to say, “He is very intelligent, he always knows what he is doing. To not follow Guardiola would be foolish. Since we are not foolish we will follow him until he gets tired of us.”
"Everyone has their cycle and one day his will come to an end. We hope his cycle will last for a very long time because we can't imagine Barca without Guardiola.”
Ever since Josep Guardiola assumed the head coach position, the men at Camp Nou have successfully held up eight trophies. In addition, with Barcelona F.C. being one of the best teams in the Spanish La Liga this year, it is thought by most fans and football
pundits that the manager would be able to add three more honours before departing with Barcelona F.C.
Guardiola’s biggest competition in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 is Real Madrid, headed by Jose Mourinho; it is still in the first ‘El Classico’ of the season. The Catalans destroyed the whites on the field as the whistle blew at the end of 90 minutes, with the score boards reading
five to nil in favour of Barcelona.
Even in the second El Classico that was held recently both teams scored a single goal, leaving a total aggregate of six to one in favour of Barcelona.
If all goes according to plan, Barcelona will be able to win the Copa Del Rey, the UEFA Champions League trophy, and the Primera Division this year.
