The Brazilian right-back criticised the Catalan club for not clearing speculations about his future in the media, while going on to promise his long future to the Camp Nou-based outfit.
Brazilian wing-back, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dani-Alves-c9869, reported for pre-season training as he recuperates from an annoying injury. The former Sevilla player took out time to talk about his future, hitting out against Barcelona officials for the manner they behaved in transfer
rumours concerning him.
Alves stated that he wants to see out his contract with the Camp Nou-based outfit. He also sent a clear message to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 sporting officials, commenting that he does not appreciate how his affairs are being handed in the press.
The Brazilian international acknowledged that transfer rumours are part and parcel of the trade, but shared that he did not like how the club did not bother to defend him at all. Alves then hit out at the club’s officials for looking after their interest
rather than those of the players.
"There has been plenty of rumours that may not continue, it bothered me not to leave the club to defend all this, yet I understood, because the club look after their interests rather than the player."
Responding about his future, Alves revealed that he will leave Barcelona on a high and not after a disappointing season. Alves added that he will continue to work hard and show his worth to the club.
Using the time at his disposal, Alves used it to talk about the hypocrisy in world football when a team wins and the barren period where they put in the same efforts but have nothing to show for. The South American stated that he is used to such feelings
but it hurts whenever they surface.
"Fortunately for our work, we have to show our worth every day. If I have to go somewhere I would not go with the feeling that the team did not has achieved all the objectives. When you win we are all very good and when you lose not so much. I'm used to
that. Try to earn the trust of those I've lost."
