The Brazilian full back has commented that Barcelona need Pep Guardiola to continue as manager in order to continue winning.
The Barcelona defender emphasized the importance of the Spanish tactician at the Catalan Capital, stating that La Blaugrana would struggle without him.
Josep Guardiola joined Barcelona in 2008, after Frank Rijkaard was relieved of his services at the club. Ever since joining the Camp Nou outfit, the Spanish mentor has managed to make quite a name for himself.
The 41-year-old is one of the most successful managers of the modern game despite having a considerable lack of experience. Most critics say that Guardiola has made a name for himself because he has gifted set of players at his disposal, but the Catalan
tactician puts his brain to good use, in order to help the team win trophies.
Having managed the club for just 3 seasons, the Spaniard has managed to add 13 trophies to the Nou Camp under his reign. With two UEFA Champions League titles and 3 Spanish La Liga trophies under his belt, he is widely considered to be one of the best coaches
around the world.
Not only is Guardiola an admirable tactician, he has also demonstrated a remarkable sense of man management. The Spaniard shares a great relationship with his players and is widely respected for this attribute.
However, despite all the good that he has achieved at the Catalan capital, Guardiola’s future with Barcelona has recently appeared to be uncertain. The Catalan head coach has shown significant reluctance in renewing his current contract with La Blaugrana
which comes to an end in summer.
Although the club’s president has allowed Pep to take time in his decision, players and fans of Barca are quite eager to find out about the future of the successful tactician.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-c9879 Alves has argued that the Spanish giants would be in a crisis situation if Guardiola chooses to part ways with them.
While addressing the press, Alves was quoted as saying:
"I think that Guardiola will sign again because without him we're nothing. Without him we'd lose our anchor and we'd drift away. Guardiola has given us stability."
Currently the reigning Spanish champions are at the second position in the Liga BBVA, standings ten points behind league leaders Real Madrid.
