Dani Pedrosa awaits a supporting Spanish crowd at Aragon – MotoGP news
Dani Pedrosa of Repsol Honda awaits a supporting and lively crowd at his home circuit, Aragon.
They went there for a privately conducted practice session, earlier, and are satisfied with their tests. Casey Stoner’s replacement Jonathan Rea is more confident with his machine after having participated in the privately conducted tests at the same circuit.
Pedrosa faced an incident in the very first lap of Italian Grand Prix at the Misano circuit. He anticipates a charming crowd as it was there, in the last races. The Honda rider feels great for the upcoming Aragon Grand Prix and anticipates convincing performance,
continuing his winning streak which was disrupted by his recent crash.
Pedrosa said, “Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing the Spanish crowd again, it would be great to see the circuit full of people like we had in the previous years. The bike is working well and I'm feeling good; we go there with the same determination
as always and motivated to continue riding well and have another good race.”
Honda has been exhibiting impressive top speeds over the circuit and Pedrosa can be a pain in neck for the championship leader Jorge Lorenzo because the records mark a clear difference in the top speeds of two rivals. He had attained the pole at the Italian
GP but faced an unfortunate crash during the race.
Jonathan Rea replacing Casey Stoner in the Honda team is more confident over the Aragon circuit because of his participation in the private tests at the Spanish circuit. He anticipates that he will be able to resume from the point he left. He was able to
reduce the gap from the other riders testing their bikes, during the private tests.
Rea said, “Having tested in Aragón on the RC213V a couple of weeks ago I am feeling more confident coming to this race than I was in Misano. Hopefully I will be able to pick up where I left off after the test.”
The new rider is enjoying his experience with the Honda and anticipates that he will be able to resume his career with the team.
Let’s see will Lorenzo write a new history over the Spanish circuit or the resistance of the Honda rider will not let him achieve his hopes.
