Dani Pedrosa feels competition heat in the 2011 MotoGP season – MotoGP news
The Repsol Honda’s dominating rider from the first two pre-season test sessions Dani Pedrosa is heading towards the final test session at Losail, Qatar.

The Championship’s first race will be after the last test session later this month Sunday, March 20, 2011.
The season is near to start and the Repsol Honda riders Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso have proved their potential competitiveness for the 2011 MotoGP season, during the test sessions.

The RC212V has also performed outrageous during the tests and conquered the time sheets. Pedrosa is having high hopes for his chances for championship after the tests during winter season break and smoothly passed by any technical or physical problems,
according to last year.
Dovizioso feels the bike has not changed much but it is getting in better shape as they have tried to improve in the critical areas such as breaking efficiency and electronics.
Repsol Honda team is having a better base to start off this season as compared to last seasons, where the team had to push the progress during the season, which delayed the results. The preseason test results and the improvements show that the first
race coming up in March will display a better level of performance.
Honda team has lined up its riders to practice and run with this set-up and earn the best out of it, and if the track conditions are in favor, the results will be more beneficial. Considering the time changes of practices, it will be much difficult
for the riders to cope up with the conditions and the reactions of the track. Riders are to go through the simulations, availing some days before the test starts. The track will be filled with some sand due to the atmospheric conditions which harden the comparison,
but by the day passes on the bikes running on the track will clear out some of it making the track a bit cleaner and improving the tarmac conditions.
Pedrosa shared some views about the track and said, “Qatar is a very different race because we run at night, with a different schedule where you have to pay more attention to details such as the tyres. But once we start, the race is worth 25 points
as in any other circuit, so you have to try and fight for them.”
Pedrosa feels much better about is health conditions as the last year’s incident, his shoulder is not in a perfect condition but still he feels to be running good through the first race of the season. He had run some test session during winter season
break but not as long as a full race distance. As previous year’s pre-season runs, Pedrosa has faced some injuries and technical malfunctions but this year they have better prepared bike.
