Dani Pedrosa remains fastest rider in third practice session of Brno Grand Prix – MotoGP news
Dani Pedrosa of Repsol Honda led the third and final practice session of Czech Republic Grand Prix, by finishing his fastest lap in 1 minute and 56.209 seconds.
He was followed by the Yamaha Factory Racing rider Ben spies with a gap of 0.743 seconds at second place.
Spies completed his fastest lap of the practice session in 1 minute and 56.952 seconds. He could only attain 8th position in the final practice session 2 of Brno GP.
Jorge Lorenzo of Yamaha Factory Racing was only able to attain 3rd position in the final practice session (FP3) of Brno GP. He completed his fastest lap of the session in 1 minute and 57.015 seconds. His gap from Pedrosa was of 0.806 seconds.
Andrea Dovizioso of Monster Yamaha Tech3 registered his fastest lap of the FP3 in 1 minute and 57.092 seconds, he was followed by his teammate, Cal Crutchlow at fifth place with a gap of 0.911seconds.
The Italian rider, Valentino Rossi of Ducati sustained 6th position, as he had in the last session, by completing his fastest lap of FP3 in 1 minute and 57.258 seconds. The 7th fastest lap of the FP3 was attained by Alvaro Bautista of Gresini Honda with
a lap time of 1 minute and 57.307 seconds.
Stefan Bradl riding for team LCR Honda could only make it to the 8th position whereas Karel Abraham of Cardion Ducati and Randy de Puniet of Aspar Aprilia followed him at the 9th and 10th position respectively.
Toni Elias of Pramac Ducati riding in place of Hector Barbera was dropped to the 13th position. He completed his fastest lap in 1 minute and 59.551 seconds.
In the Brno GP Pedrosa is the sole rider for Honda because Casey Stoner has returned Australia for his ankle surgery.
The FP3 witnessed a lot of changes as compared to the practice session 2 of Czech Republic GP, however it would be too early to say who will be able to attain which position at the grid because riders try several modifications during the practice sessions.
It can be expected that it will be a close competition among the leading positions on the next Sunday.
