Dani Pedrosa says he wants to continue pushing the maximum from their side – MotoGP news
Dani Pedrosa of Repsol Honda is enjoying racing currently and wants to remain consistent with his winning streak.
He won the Japanese Grand Prix at the Motegi circuit and is looking forward to the upcoming Malaysian Grand Prix scheduled at the Sepang circuit.
Pedrosa has been able to win every race he finished since the last 5 races. He won 4 races while he was unable to finish the 5th Italian Grand Prix scheduled at the Misano circuit due to a crash. He told that he is enjoying racing currently and wants to
keep up with his winning streak. He added that he will be trying to attain maximum from his bike without thinking about other riders.
He said, “I'm really enjoying racing at the moment and I want to continue like this, pushing the maximum from our side without thinking about the others. It's two seasons since I raced in Sepang and I'm looking forward to it now.”
He told that Sepang circuit is a mixture of everything which makes it challenging to ride. The slow and fast corners along with long straights make the circuit further challenging.
“It's a track where you have a little bit of everything - it's hard to ride, it's hot, there are fast and slow corners, hard braking, long straights... and everybody has references from the tests,” he added.
Talking about the upcoming Malaysian GP he said that they will get to know details on the upcoming Friday because it depends on tyres how they respond at the circuit, as it is slippery. Teams modify their bike during the practice sessions in accordance with
the circuit to make them more competitive. It is anticipated that the practice sessions in Malaysia will play an important role in deciding the winner of the race. The more they understand the circuit the more chances they get to attain the victory.
Pedrosa has proven the strength of his Honda machine lately. Even his old rival Jorge Lorenzo has admitted that Honda is very strong these days.
Let’s see whether the Honda rider will attain a hat-trick of victories at the Malaysian circuit or not.
