Dani Pedrosa says minute details will affect latter half of the 2012 season – MotoGP news
Dani Pedrosa of team Repsol Honda believes that the upcoming grands prix will have tough competition, and minor details will make significant changes in the result of the races.
The Spaniard said that the remaining races will not be very shocking and different to the races that have already been concluded in the current season.
He added that it not always about the major improvements but minor details that make a lot difference in the race as well and the team catering to all of the required details will come out successful.
Pedrosa said, “I think in the remaining races things will be very similar to what we have seen up until now. Each race is decided by details, it is important to be as high up on the podium as possible and not make mistakes.”
Furthermore, he said that the circuits would not make a lot of difference because every rider is trying to give his best performance on whatever circuits they are racing on.
He added that riders have been racing for so long that they have become used to racing. He said that it seems that riders can do much more on the circuit but actually it is not the case, because they try to get the most out of them and their bikes. Besides,
he said that winner will be the person who commits the least amount of mistakes.
He said, “This year we are all doing very well at every circuit —at those which we like and those which we don’t. I think this will continue and that it won’t be tracks that make the difference. You can’t make mistakes and the winner will be whoever commits
the least errors.”
The Spanish said that he is satisfied with his performance in the current season but he expects that he should have won some more races. He added that he is hopeful that their team will perform convincingly in the remainder of the season and they will be
winning more races.
