Dani Pedrosa says they had chattering in their bike at Sepang circuit – MotoGP news
Dani Pedrosa of Repsol Honda managed attaining 2nd position in the qualifying round of the Malaysian Grand Prix.
He told that they had chattering in the bike yet they were able to achieve fast pace during the race and further believes that weather will play an important role in the race.
He told that he faced some difficulties in the race because of the chattering in their bike. They had chattering not only in turns but on straights as well. Despite having chattering in the bike they were able to attain the first row for the Malaysian Grand
Prix.
Pedrosa said, “It was hard because we had a lot of chattering this afternoon and it was very difficult to get a clean lap as in some areas the bike was chattering too much, even in the straight! Nevertheless, we managed to get on the front row again and
the second position is good.”
In addition, he told that they have a considerable speed in the bike. They worked hard to achieve the pace because they were unable to practice during the free practice 2 session on Friday due to the heavy showers prior to the session. They expect that they
will not be facing the chattering problem during the race and the weather will also play an important role, tomorrow.
“The pace is high and after missing FP2 yesterday because of the mixed conditions, this morning we've been working hard on the race pace. I just hope that we don't have this chattering for the race. The weather can play an important role too,” he added.
He was exhibited impressive performance over the Malaysian circuit however in the last few moments Lorenzo changed the tyres of his bike and improved his lap times thus attaining the pole position for the Malaysian GP. The final lap of Lorenzo was a record
breaking lap over the circuit.
The Honda rider has managed winning 4 of the last 6 races he has started. This success has resulted in creating the race to championship title even more interesting.
