Dani Pedrosa says they will work hard to remain as competitive as possible at Motegi – MotoGP news
Dani Pedrosa of Repsol Honda told that they will work hard to remain as competitive as possible at the Motegi circuit, as it is the most important race for his team Repsol Honda.
He likes that circuit and will be concentrating over individual races.
The Honda rider told that he likes the Motegi circuit and will be working hard to be as competitive as possible. He won there last year and told that he will try to repeat his superb victory from last year. He believes that the race is very important for
his team as it is their home circuit.
Pedrosa said, “Motegi is a race I always look forward to. It's the most important weekend for Honda and I really enjoy the circuit. We have now the most demanding period of races ahead, but we will keep taking things step by step, thinking race by race.”
He told that he will be improving consistently and will be trying concentrate on individual races. The main challenge for the teams would be to apple suitable settings with their bike so it remains competitive over the different layout.
“I love Motegi, it's a track with strong braking and strong acceleration. You must work very hard for the anti-wheelie, handling with the throttle, braking stability and good drive out of the corners. We had a good race there last year and we will work hard
with the team to be as competitive as possible,” he added.
The Japanese circuit comprises of 4 significant straights which would provide riders a chance to push hard. It would be important to control the brake balance and throttle of the bike.
Pedrosa has won the last three race in which he managed to make it to the finish line. Being a runner up in the championship, he is working very hard to make it to the championship title however Lorenzo has been able to maintain a decent lead over the Honda
rider in terms of championship.
Let’s see how the Honda rider performs in the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix which is expected to be a tough competition because of the different and challenging layout of the circuit.
