Daniel Agger bemoans shocking defeat to Stoke City and wants Liverpool to bounce back – EPL News
Influential Liverpool centre-back Daniel Agger has expressed his disappointment over his team’s shocking defeat against Stoke City and has urged his teammates to bounce back in the upcoming Premier League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur.
Liverpool slumped to first defeat of the ongoing 2011/12 Barclays Premier League in their latest fixture. Kenny Dalglish’s men performed impressively at the Britannia Stadium and dominated the proceedings for the full ninety minutes.

The 26-year-old has revealed that the whole team was disappointed after losing the game and the result has affected the moral of the squad. However, the Dane is confident that the Reds will bounce back in the next fixture against Tottenham.
Agger told the club’s official website, "It was disappointing, of course, because we wanted to get more out of it, but it was just one of those days and we just have to carry on, work hard and aim for the next game. We don't want to lose games like that.”
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denmark-c2884 international feels that Liverpool will have to take maximum out of every fixture in order to accomplish their pre-season target of finish in the top four of the Barclays Premier League.
“We need the points and we need to get as many points as we can. It was a game we could have taken all of them,” the defender added.
Stoke City have kicked-off the current campaign in impressive fashion and are currently placed fifth in the league standings. The Potters’ goalkeeper http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ryan-Shawcross-c31996 were at their best against Liverpool.
Agger believes that Stoke City should be credited for their hard work and commitment to get all three points.
"You have to give Stoke credit. They got what they wanted and played how they wanted, like they normally do, so I think we have to give all the credit to them because they got the result and we didn't," http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Agger-c9884 concluded.
