Daniel Bryan and Alberto Del Rio’s place in WWE Power 25 for weekend of August 6 – WWE News
SmackDown’s Mr. Money in the Bank, Daniel Bryan and the Raw Mr. Money in the Bank Alberto Del Rio are lying in the Top 10 list of Power 25 in the weekend of August 6. Bryan is placed fourth while Del Rio is spotted sixth in the current week’s rankings.
The Raw Mr. Money in the Bank was at seventh position in the last week’s rankings. Del Rio proved very aggressive this week, as he participated in the Monday Night Raw segment and faced the High-Flying Superstar, Evan Bourne. Del Rio took the stunning victory
over Evan by putting him into brutal “Armbar” submission. After winning the match, Del Rio once again put Evan into anther Armbar. Evan’s friend Kofi Kingston came out and saved him.
Last week, Del Rio tried to cash his “Money in the Bank” contract by chasing the WWE Champion of that time, Rey Mysterio. But The Ultimate Underdog kept Del Rio away from the ringside. As Del Rio failed to cash his Money in the Bank contract therefore he
was dropped down to seventh position from fifth last week and he has somehow retained his position this week.
The SmackDown Mr. Money in the Bank, Bryan was set to face Tyson Kidd during Friday Night SmackDown on August 5. His traditional rival, Wade Barrett also joined the announce table during his fight. The former United States Champion, Bryan took the amazing
victory over Kidd by applying his finishing move, Guillotine Choke. As it was not as tough fight as required for the top five places. Thus, the Academy of Wrestling Arts and Science placed him on the previous week’s fourth position.
Bryan is defending his same fourth spot for the past three weeks. Furthermore, it is seemed that Bryan and Barrett may collide with each other at WWE’s pay-per-view event “SummerSlam” on August 14. The announcement may be happening tomorrow during Friday
Night SmackDown’s edition as their rivalry is heating up day-by-day.
