Christian was suspended for the Redbacks’ upcoming Sheffield Shield match against the Victoria Bushrangers, after three incidents in the past few weeks, during which he damaged changing rooms in frustration after being dismissed.

apologised and paid for the damage. However, he repeated the behaviour for the third consecutive time at WACA in Perth, after which the management decided to issue him a one-match suspension.
The 29-year-old has made four appearances for the Redbacks in the current Sheffield Shield season, during which he has scored 173 runs at 21.62, and claimed 9 scalps at an average of 41.44.
Meanwhile, Christian will also be forming a part of the Brisbane Heat squad for the upcoming edition of the Big Bash League T20 tournament, due to kick off in December this year. Alongside his participation in the domestic circuit, Christian has also played
17 ODIs and 11 T20Is for the national Australian side.
