Daniel Coa admires Action Andy for Super Stakes victory – Horseracing Update
The champion jockey, Daniel Coa, has heaped applause on Action Andy for his excellent run and marvellous victory in Super Stakes race at Tampa Bay Downs on Saturday, February 11.
The young horse performed extra-ordinarily well in cash-rich race which drew huge bankroll worth of $75, 000.
Out of the eight runners including Action Andy, Watch Me Go, Gold Strike Begins, Good Lord, Close It Out, Ninety Schillings, Duty Blues and Tommy’s Memory; Action Andy finished first followed by Watch Me Go and Gold Strike Begins grabbing second and third
spots respectively.
The 7 furlongs race helped Action Andy to demonstrate his racing skills and once again and accomplish the fifth victory of his short career.
Since the dawn of 2012, the talented runner has been enjoying good form. Before Saturday’s triumph, he had won a Pelican contest at the same track on January 7.
The fresh success has further perked up the horse’s momentum and he is expected to perform with the same spirit in the upcoming events of the calendar year.
The winner’s jockey was so much impressed by his mouth-water performance on the weekend as he claimed publically that Action Andy could win whoever would have driven him.
Coa said, “Anybody in the [jockeys’] room could have won on this horse today.”
The trainer of horse, Carlos Garcia, told, “The people here have been so nice to us, and he likes this track so much we’d like to run him here, if we can.”
Coa wows to share his purse with Action Andy’s regular jockey, Jessie Garacia, who is unable to ride now-a-days for his rib injuries.
Bred in Maryland, Action Andy is owned by Robert Gerczak. Since the very beginning of his career, the dashing runner has been at the top of his game. The racing analysts predict a promising future for him.
During the next couple of months, the horse have some iconic events to compete in. If he manages to carry forward his momentum and performs consistently, he will surely be able to bring home further titles as well. Garacia expect the same from his pupil.
