Daniel Day-Lewis As The Joker!?

Question

With the untimely & unfortunate passing of Heath Ledger, the only person I can think of that's skillful & brave enough to wear the purple suit & can stand up to Ledger's very outstanding performance is Mr.Lewis. What do you think?

I think Day-Lewis is a splendid actor and is capable of an astonish range of characters. However, I don't want to see Daniel Day-Lewis play the Joker. I don't see the need for any other additional films featuring the Joker.

While I think Daniel Day-Lewis is an outstanding actor I could never see anyone else as the Joker, The Dark Knight would have not been nearly as good without Heath Ledgers performance. I consider the film itself over rated. So no I do not think they should go right ahead and cast another actor in the role I think the next film should concentrate on a different villain.

Joseph Gordon Levitt. If you don't know him, look him up. Guy looks alot like Ledger.

Yea he was great in Gangs of New York. Both characters careless about anything but the way they see life. A great point but Lewis's voice isn't as crazy as heath ledgers in The Dark Knight.
