Daniel Geale faces Eromosele Albert for IBF Middleweight title – Boxing news
The Australian professional boxer Daniel Geale has said that he will be facing the 36-year-old Eromosele Albert as his next possible opponent for his second IBF Middleweight title defence on August 31, 2011 at the Derwent Entertainment Centre in Hobart.
Daniel Geale has been an outstanding boxing profile since he joined boxing as a profession. Geale is coming to the ring after winning four of his impressive fights against the world’s best boxers.
The Middleweight contender Geale claimed the IBF Pan Pacific Middleweight title winning a 12-round unanimous points’ decision against Samir Dos Santos Barbosa of Brazil in 2009 in Australia.
The current IBF Middleweight Champion Geale made the first successful defence of his IBF Pan Pacific Super Middleweight title winning the 12-round technical knockout decision against the 33-year-old experienced Australian professional boxer Kariz Kariuki
in 2010.
Geale faced his first and only loss of his career after getting defeated by the 36-year-old experienced Anthony Mundine losing a 12-round split decision against him.
The Nigerian national professional boxer Albert is coming back to the ring after winning a couple of fights.
Albert claimed his IBF Latino Middleweight title winning a ninth-round technical knockout decision against Joaquin Zamora of America in 2010 in US.
Eromosele ‘Bad Boy’ Albert made the first successful defence of his IBF Latino Middleweight title winning an eight-round technical knockout decision against Lester Gonzalez of Cuba in February 2011.
The time was 2:59 when the referee Frank Santore called the bout of in favour of Albert.
Albert faced the first ever loss of his career after winning 10 of his back-to-back victories. The Haitian professional boxer Julio Jean won an eight-round unanimous points’ decision against Albert in 2005.
