Chelsea striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Sturridge-c10076, currently on loan to Bolton Wanderers, revealed he could be heading towards a Stamford Bridge exit if he was not guaranteed first team football at the London club next season.
The 21-year-old striker was sent off to Bolton in the January transfer window on a loan move for the remainder of the season to make room for Fernando Torres.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 striker arrived at Chelsea for a record breaking fee of £50 million and Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti decided to send Sturridge away.
The Italian insisted the move away was for the young strikers own good, since he would be guaranteed first team play time at Reebok Stadium.
Bolton boss Owen Coyle ensured Sturridge received valuable first team experience during his time at the club, with the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 under-21 international going on to make 11 appearances for The Trotters.
Sturridge has made the most of his time at Bolton, emerging as a highly effective striker. In the second half of the season Sturridge has gone on to score an impressive 8 goals in 11 Premier League appearances.
Sturridge admitted while he loved http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, he would only be willing to return to the club if he was guaranteed first team football.
He said while speaking to reporters, “I want to play first-team football regularly for Chelsea Football Club. I http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Love-c22466 the club. I have been at the club now for a year-and-a-half and have been on loan at Bolton. I love playing football for Chelsea.”
The English striker continued, "I don't want to say I am going to leave the club, I want to play regularly, but for me next season it is very important to play first-team football. I want to play at Chelsea but if the chances don't come at Chelsea, then
I will have to look elsewhere."
However, he revealed the decision to remain at Stamford Bridge was not up to him. He said, “The only decision I can make is that I want to play first-team football and that's the one that I choose to take.”
Sturridge joined the Blues from Premier League side Manchester City in the summer of 2009 on a four year contract for a fee of £3.5 million.
In over 41 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions over two seasons, Sturridge found the back of the net nine times.

It is understood it will be easier for him to secure a place in the starting XI at Bolton as compared to at Premier League giants Chelsea.
Regardless of whether Ancelotti is allowed to stay or not, Sturridge will have to compete against the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Salomon-Kalou-c32266 at Stamford Bridge.
