Everybody talks. It's just time to go out and do a job on the football field. That's where our talking is done.
It's pointless talking off the field. It's not going to change anything.”
According to the English striker the Blues’ main aim was to try and secure silverware along with a top four finish in the Premier League. Chelsea are currently competing for the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup as they sit on fifth place on the Premier
League table.
If the Blues were to have a successful season, Sturridge believed they had to win either the UEFA Champions League or the FA Cup, something that would satisfy both the owner Roman Abramovich and the fans as the Blues prepared for next season.
He continued:
“A successful season now would be winning the FA Cup or the Champions League. If we could do one or the other it would be great.
I think we've got to get some sort of silverware, and to get in the top four, to qualify for next season's Champions League.”
