Daniel Tammet is genius or he just momorize numbers etc easily?

Memory isn't a clear sign of intelligence. People can memorize numbers easily with tricks... you could memorize an entire deck of cards if you practiced and knew some tricks that they use for it. And these people don't always have better memories either. I remember watching this one interview with this memory wiz. He was able to memorize 3 decks of cards, but he said that he looses his car keys and the TV remote all the time. Einstein was highly intelligent but he forgot things all the time.
