match, he is not fully fit to make the second Test squad and will be returning home to undergo rehabilitation, confirmed the New Zealand cricket team management.
"Dan had some discomfort while in the field on day three of the first Test match with assessment confirming an adductor injury," the New Zealand physiotherapist, Paul Close told media reporters on Tuesday.
"It was managed during the match but further assessment has indicated he will not be fully fit in time for the next Test. Dan will return to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754 where here will be monitored closely and undergo a period of rehabilitation,” he

Despite an unimpressive show in the series opener, with both the bat (17 and 13) and the ball (1 for 127), Vettori remains a key part of the Black Caps line-up, especially at a time when the tourists are eager for a win to avoid the
series defeat.
