Daniel Vettori warns against taking Bangladesh lightly
New Zealand’s skipper Daniel Vettori has exhorted his team to not take Bangladesh lightly in the forthcoming ODI series between the two sides. New Zealand travel to Bangladesh to play five ODIs that begin
from 5 October.

The series between New Zealand and Bangladesh is a part of warming up for the ICC Cricket World Cup that will be played in the sub-continent from 19 February, 2011. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 and Bangladesh will co-host
the event.

In the last series that the two sides had played, New Zealand had won 3-0, but those were different conditions. In http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747, the tracks will be far slower, the spinners will have a lot more say in the games
and the heat and humidity will have a bearing on the results.
"If we go over there expecting to walk over them like we did here, we'll be in for a bit of a fright," said Vettori.

However, Vettori added that if the side played to their potential, there was a good chance that the Kiwis could go on to win all their games.

Vettori will captain the New Zealand side after he missed the previous couple of series that the team had played in. Vettori had taken a break from cricket, going on a paternity leave. Along with Vettori,
the side will also see the return of Brendon McCullum and Jesse Ryder, both of whom were out of the side for different reasons. McCullum had also taken a break, while Ryde was injured.

http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754 go into the series with a relatively young team. There is Hamish Bennett in the side, who has yet to play an international, apart from some of those who have played only a handful of games before.
Bennet is a quick bowler who can crank it up to speeds of 140 kph and that could help the Kiwis do the job.

The series will see the Kiwis play a couple of warm-up games, before the five ODIs will be played om October 5, 8, 11, 14 and 17.
