Daniel van Buyten insists he is happy at Bayern Munich

The Reds defender is satisfied with his role at Allianz-Arena and reveals the interest of four other clubs in his services.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Van-Buyten-c10095 has expressed his desire to continue playing with Bayern Munich beyond this season. The defender’s contract will expire at the end of this campaign, and the club has so far not offered him a new deal.
The centre-back added that there are a few other clubs interested in his services, and it is up to the Reds bosses to decide his future at the club.
Van Buyten stated that he feels comfortable playing in German conditions, and would love to extend his playing career with the Bavarian giants. The sweeper has been instrumental in his team’s success so far this season after having
an average 2010/11 campaign.
The Belgian international has scored four goals from 12 league appearances prior to going into the winter break, and will definitely play a key role when the Bavarians resume their Bundesliga service on Friday, January 20, against
Borussia Monchengladbach.
While talking to sports magazine, kicker, the 33-year-old defender further elaborated:
"My agent told me that four other clubs are interested in me. Bayern Munich know how I feel. My family and I feel comfortable in Munich. However, it also depends on Bayern. There is a reason I've been here since 2006; here I can
achieve my goals."
The former Hamburg SV player also showered praise on the current Bayern Munich squad. He believes that it is the best side that he has ever played in, and vowed to complete a treble at the end of this term. He mentioned that he
would prefer winning silverware every season, and is pleased to be a part one of the top European outfits.
"[The current Bayern team is] the best in which I've ever played. We have a chance at the treble but we need to play at our top level every time. There will be no wonderful season at Bayern without a title," he added.
Van Buyten further added that he is extremely satisfied with his fitness and is raring to continue despite reaching his mid-30s.
"I feel in top shape, as if I were a 25. My head and body are ready for the highest level," Van Buyten concluded.
