Daniela Macias tames Monyata Riviera in Women’s Singles battle at XXI Pan Am Junior 2012
Daniela Macias, an upcoming shuttler from Peru, delivered a spectacular performance as she played fantastic badminton and overpowered Monyata Riviera of Barbados in Women’s Singles battle at the XXI Pan Am Junior 2012 Team Event on Sunday, July 22, in Canada.
Daniela was in full swing in her contest with Monyata and proved her domination in almost all aspects of the game by playing beautiful badminton and grabbed victory with grace.
The in-form Daniela showed her class while playing to her maximum potential and remained successful in winding up the match in straight games with a huge margin by consuming just 26 minutes on court.
On the contrary, Monyata could not live up to the expectations of her fans as she failed to put up strong impact on court. She was literally no match to her in-form opponent who belonged to a higher level and bowed to her without taking any game.
From the opening points of first set, Daniela remained dominant and did not let her rival at any stage to control the pace of rallies.
The impressive smashes coupled with perfect net shots of Daniela helped her to set up an amazing lead on score board until the mid-game interval.
After the interval, Daniela continued proving her superior class on court while keeping the pace of rallies high. She was quick in creating gaps and manipulated all loopholes of her opponent in a smart way.
