The AC Milan defender is hoping for a return to the Italian side in the upcoming Euro 2012; believes he is under the eye of coach Cesare Prandelli.
Daniele Bonera has insisted that he is eyeing a recall to the Italian national side in the upcoming Euro 2012.
The defender has made 23 appearances for AC Milan this season, and rates himself as a major contributor towards the club's successful lead to the Serie A victory this season. The defender insisted that he has displayed some promising performances, and is
content with his form in the game.
The Diavolo player believes that given the consistency he has shown in the recent performances, he will inevitably be under observation of the Azzurri boss. He was all praise for the tactician, lamenting his ability to include everyone in the team.
While talking to the press, the 30-year-old said:
“Given that I am now playing with a certain amount of consistency, it is inevitable that I can think about at least being under observation. Coach, Cesare Prandelli, has demonstrated that he is well aware of what is going and he’s never excluded anybody.
I will candidate myself.”
The stopper, who also possesses the ability to play as a right-back or centre-back, and has made 16 appearances for the Italian side so far and fancies he can add to that number.

Moreover, the player has formerly not featured in any of the final stages of a major international tournament for the Italian side and took part in eight qualifying games. The defender is of view that his recent performances will attract the attention of
Cesare Prandelli, and earn him a place in the Azzurri squad amidst tough competition from top talent, all over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926.
The statement is evidently an attempt by the defender to lip-service the coach into the Italian side, and only time will tell whether the seemingly weak attempt will illicit any results for the player or not.
