The Giallorossi midfielder has refuted claims of a rift between him and his club teammate, Kjaer; reports emanated after he was dropped by Luis Enrique.
Speculation of a feud between the two players increased in intensity after the duo was dropped against Atalanta at the weekend. However, the Italian international has rebuffed all claims pertaining to such
a dispute.
The Italian is included in the Azzurri squad which will face USA in a friendly match this week.
Giallorossi boss, Luis Enrique, has stated that De Rossi was dropped for the Atalanta game because the midfielder was late for the team meeting. De Rossi has not commented in detail about the situation, which
has led to a lot of speculation in the media about his absence from the squad.
The Italian inernational was being interviewed by Raisport 1, during which he conceded that a lot of commotion came about, and he regretfully remarked:
“I’m sorry for what happened. There is nothing to hide, I know that in Rome a little bit of chaos is being generated and I’m sorry.”
