The AS Roma vice-captain has rallied his troops to continue their winning momentum and cement their way into the third and last Champions League qualifying
place.
The Giallorossi have had an inconsistent campaign so far, and have never contested for the third league standing of the Serie A. However, a string of positive results has
given them the sight of the UEFA Champions League football, and De Rossi has told his team-mates to make this possibility a reality.

The Wolves recent run of victories has coincided with the dip in form by the third-place contenders (http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 and Udinese), who have dropped points in the last few
rounds. The difference between AS Roma and the three teams was quite a lot before, but Luis Enrique’s men have reduced the gap. The sixth-placed team are four points adrift of the third-placed Lazio.

Their run of inconsistency throughout this season has been directed to the new methodology introduced by Luis Enrique into the club. The club’s new ownership wanted free-flowing
football to be incorporated into their style of play.
Despite their start stop season so far, positive results in the past couple of rounds has meant that the players have become more optimistic in their drive. With the last
Champions league place up for grabs, the Italian international has asked for greater focus in the remaining matches of the league.

During his interview to the TeleRadioStereo, De Rossi stated that there was greater motivation in the squad given the table’s standings, and further commented:
“We must keep believing. The fact that Udinese and Napoli have lost is an added benefit. Luis Enrique rationalises game by game, but now there is an added motivation, we
are close and have to keep pedalling.”
The Giallorossi talismanic midfielder would be hoping to end the season on a high and restore some pride to the capital side given Roma’s much publicised inconsistencies
and criticism throughout the season. With eight matches remaining in the Lega, there is a possibility that Roma might end up in the third position and the fact that they would be leapfrogging Lazio in the process would mean that the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 would be highly
motivated for the remainder of the season.
