Danilo Gallinari?

Based on what I've seen in the NBA camp, Gallinari has a lot of potential in the NBA. And form his moves, it is clear he has the tools to become a top player in the league. Anybody agree?

  2. Definantly. I especially love him in the fast paced system. I think he's better than Bargnani. But I think he has a couple years before he really makes an impact. I expect some rough patches for the next two years, but I really like him. I'm not a Knicks fan, either. I'm a Wolves fan and would rather have him than Mayo (thank God we ended up with Love and Miller!)

    But to me, Gallinari is going to be Shawn Marion. He's got the three point shot and I think he's going to be a good defender...he's long. He's got that frame that reminds me of Marion.

    I know they want him to put on muscle, but I think he's going to be 6'10 or so and be skinny. He's going to be a good player.

    I remember when D'Antoni criticized Marion for his lack of effort in becoming a better ball handler. Galinari is already twice the ball handler Marion is and will develop into a better handler. You're looking at a guy who is going to play four positions in his NBA career.

    I think in his prime, he'll be a guy who can put up 20, grab 6 boards, 5 assists and get a couple steals. He's got a great outside shot, too.

    He looked scared in the first half of the first summer league game, though. lol.

  3. Danilo Gallinari has a lot of potential to be a good international player in the NBA. It will take him a few years to help the knicks get into the playoffs, but he a has a good future for him and his team in the FUTURE.
