Danio's gone missing????

Question

i went to this place for 3 days while my sister was feeding my fish and i came back and then 2/3 danios went missing i carnt find then any where ??????

What other fish do you have? What size tank do you have? I*s it cycled? We need more info other than there gone.

The most likely cause is that they were

1) Eaten

2) They died and were then eaten

3) Your sister didn't tell you that they died while you were gone because she might feel responsible.

4) In a hiding spot

These are just ideas. The most likely of these is that the danios died and were then eaten by the other fish. You have a very good community tank which is why I have a hard time believing the other fish in the tank killed them. They might be hiding in a hiding spot in the tank too. You never know, they may surface soon.

It either got eaten by another fish, or it died and your sister didnt tell you.

my guess s they jumped out of your tank. try searching near the fish tank

1)what other fish have you got in yr tank

2) could they have died and she didnt tell you

3)they could have died and been eaten

well, ask your sister if she pulled it because it died. if not...chances are, it died and is under something in the tank. it also could have gotten eaten by the other fish in the tank too. Doesn't look good for your fishy though:(

okay i came up with some reasonable possibilities but i am pretty sure that those 2 danios are dead.

1. they died and your sister didn't tell you

2. they could have died and got stuck in the filter

3. they died and the other fish ate them

4. they died and if you have rocks at the bottom of your tank they could be under the rocks

I am most likely thinking that they died and your sister got rid of them because wouldn't she have noticed that they are gone as well?
