While talking to reporters after the match, Morten Olsen stressed that the elimination from the first round of the tournament is disappointing but he is not disappointed from his players. Olsen said that his players showed great commitment throughout the
tournament and the results are bit cruel on the players.

Olsen believes that his players were careless on few occasions that led to his side’s failure in the end. Germany was a great team and his players performed admirably well against a top team and they deserve credit for that.
"It was a fantastic performance and we played against one of the world's elite - unfortunately we have been punished for our carelessness.”
"We were playing against a great team, of course they were better than us and to beat them we would have needed a bit of luck."

are a lot of positives to be taken from this campaign.
Denmark are out of the Euro 2012 but the team has a promising future and great things are expected from this talented side in the future.
