The Serbian striker shares his views on the upcoming UEFA Champions League return leg against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/SL-Benfica-c40542 and urged his teammates to win the Russian Cup.
Zenit St. Petersburg striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Danko-Lazovic-c10188, has tipped his side to retain the Russian Premier League title under Luciano Spalletti this season. The prolific striker expressed his desire to lift the Russian Cup despite stiff competition
from their counterparts.
The Russian top division resumes on March 03, 2012 and Zenit will kick start the third league round by playing against the second-placed, CSKA Moscow.
Lazovic revealed that they are up against a difficult opponent but assured the fans that they will try to win maximum matches during the third round to stretch their lead atop the league table.
“If CSKA want to fight us for the league title, they need to win. Let's see what happens on Saturday, and then discuss the situation. If we win we will head to the Champions League with more confidence.
“We will compete with the top Russian outfit during the third league round and it’s interesting.” The former Partizan player was quoted as saying.
Zenit will travel to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984 to play the UEFA Champions League return leg against SL Benfica. The St. Petersburg club managed to win the first home leg against the Eagles 3-2 at Petrovsky stadium.

the opposition’s home advantage.
“We want to win the championship, Cup and win as many victories in the Champions League.” Lazovic roared.
Speaking on his physical condition, Lazovic revealed that he remained sidelined after sustaining recurring injuries. He assured the fans of his availability for the rest of the season and promised that he will help the Russian
outfit.
