Dannios eager to continue impressive Yarmouth streak
Yarmouth has always been Dannios’s cup of tea. Some people even claim that the Ed Walker trained bay gelding is just made for this playfield. The notion is justified by the fact that he has achieved all of his total five victories at this venue. It is interesting
and surprising at the same time.
As the six-year-old veteran horse prepares to run the Sea-Deer Handicap at Yarmouth, both the sport analysts and fans are converged on the point that he will be quite invincible for his nine rivals. The good to firm racecourse of 1 mile and 3 yards is ideal
for him to thrive convincingly.
This victory will help Dannios complete his maiden hat-trick that has been due since he won two big races in August. He is well-familiar with the track, thus, he will run confidently without bearing any pressure.
The son of Tobougg out of Fleuve D ‘Or broke his maiden in June 2011 by winning the SIS Live Maiden Handicap at Yarmouth.
During August of the same year, he elegantly bagged two consecutive triumphs over there. The one was Oddschecker.mobi Handicap (Div I) that he won by beating the hot favourite candidate Scarborough Lily, while the other was Betfair Racing Excellence Apprentice
Training Series Handicap.
Unfortunately, the brilliant gelding failed to complete hat-trick. After a couple of below-par performances at Salisbury and Windsor, he turned to Yarmouth again on August 8 and registered a classic triumph in the George Darling Memorial Apprentice Handicap.
The Roseland Thoroughbreds Ltd bred horse again proved his class over there by winning the Great Yarmouth Tourist Authority Handicap on August 14.
During the last four weeks, Dannios worked out a lot to build up on the momentum he had derived from two big wins. Now, he is h**l-bent not to miss hat-trick.
Considering the gelding’s fabulous Yarmouth streak, the punters have staked their money on him. His fans are too anxious to watch him winning at his favourite battlefield.
Overall, there lies great enthusiasm ahead of the race. Thus, Dannios has a lot of expectations to meet. Good luck to the young talent.
