Danny Garcia: I do not ever go in with a game plan – Boxing News
Danny Garcia, the current unified light welterweight titlist is hoping to score yet another knock down victory against Zab Judah on February 9 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Garcia is ready to once again enter the hometown of his opponent and score
an impressive win.
The young American holds an undefeated streak with 25 wins his bag, 16 of which came through knockouts. Surprisingly, this young fighter has defeated the best in his division and he is aiming on continuing his efforts by facing a fighter like Zab Judah,
who indeed is among the best fighters in the light welterweight division.
“Yeah, I'm looking forward to it, man. I'm blessed and I'm happy, and I'm looking forward to it. I can't wait to perform,” said Garcia when asked if he is ready to face Judah on February 9.
“I don't feel any pressure, because now, I just feel like, to be honest, I'm just having fun with it now. I've already proven that I'm the best. Now, it's just about having fun and enjoying being on top,” he said when asked if he is feeling any pressure
since he will be facing Judah in his hometown.
“I think that I'm getting more seasoned, and I've got a lot of boxing skills that I haven't shown the world yet, but I just haven't had to use them.”
Garcia was talking to Ring TV regarding his plans for the fight. According to the unified champion, he still has a lot of weapons to exhibit but no opponent has taken him that far. Garcia believes most of his opponents fall to him a bit too early, impeding
him from coming to his best.
For now, Garcia is confident that is going to score another major knockout victory on February 9, 2013. He is not even a bit anxious about facing Zab Judah, one of the fiercest fighters in the division. As Garcia puts it, Judah’s time is over and it is his
era. For Garcia, this is his reign and no one can bring him down, at least not fighters like Judah.
