Danny Garcia is in the mood to knock out every opponent – Boxing News
According to WBA and WBC unified light welterweight titlist Danny Garcia, it is his job to get in the ring and beat his opponent, whether anyone appreciates it or not. The unbeaten American has asserted that he is ready to knock out his opponents, regardless
of what others think about it.
“I'm just gonna keep winning whether they give me the recognition or not. It really don't matter. I'm here to do my job,” said Garcia in his recent interview published on Fighthype.com.
“One day they gonna recognize me and until then, I'm gonna just keep knocking them out... Zab is a good fighter. I just feel like he's had his time. He wanted this fight, he demanded this fight, and now he's got the fight. Zab gotta back his words up,” Garcia
added.
Garcia is scheduled to fight Zab Judah on February 9, Saturday, at the Barclays Center in New York. While most fans are wondering why did Garcia choose to fight Judah, an inferior opponent, the unbeaten American claims it was the Judah’s demand and he just
gave it to him.
“It's crazy, man, but it's good. You know, once you become champion, you gotta stay active. I'm staying active and I stay in the gym just improving and getting better and better,” said Garcia when asked about his life as a champion.
Garcia revealed that the press conference for the is on Saturday in New York, where they will reveal more about the entire scenario.
Garcia also spoke about his win over Mexican legend Erik Morales in a rematch which took place last month. According to Garcia, he knew very well how to counter Morales and how to put him under attack. The light welterweight champion asserted that it was
his left hook that completely dismantled Morales, and he knew the fight was over right there and then.
Garcia has become of the most dangerous fighters in the ring, especially his big left hook that has knocked out several fighters including the likes of Briton fighter and the then WBA light welterweight titlist Amir Khan and Mexican ring legend Erik Morales.
