Anatoliy Byshovets believes http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hulk-c16436 will prove to be good signings for Zenit St. Petersburg and has urged Aleksandr Kerzhakov to rediscover his old form
The famous Russian coach, Anatoliy Byshovets, has shared his thoughts on Zenit St. Petersburg new signings, Axel Witsel and Hulk, and has warned http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aleksandr-Kerzhakov-c4569 to score more goals if he wants to get more minutes on the pitch.
Zenit made expensive purchases during the summer transfer window to improve the offensive line of the team. The defending Russian Premier League champions reportedly splashed 100 million Euros to sign Hulk and Witsel from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Porto-c39186
and Benfica respectively.
And while football pundits along with many other analysts are criticizing the St. Petersburg club for making expensive purchases this summer, Byshovets has backed the new signings to make an instant impact.
“Witsel is good player. I think that the Belgian International is a very good buy but he needs time to adjust to his new team. I think it’s still too early to make conclusions about the signings they have made. However, I can say
that the Hulk is no doubt a great player, a player with a totally different calibre as compared to top players in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991.”
“I am sure that time will determine the fact that the Brazilian striker will play an important role in team success. He had a decent track record and hopefully he will continue with that.” The former Shakhtar Donetsk man was quoted
as saying.
Byshovets went on to comment on out-of-form striker Aleksandr Kerzhakov, saying that the former Dynamo Moscow forward is taking more time to rediscover his old form after picking up a couple of injuries earlier this season.
The Russian national credited http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luciano-c22574 Spalletti for making the right decision to let Kerzhakov score from the penalty spot in their 1-0 win against Kuban Krasnodar, saying that it will only increase his confidence.
Another name who is making good progress in the treatment room is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Danny-c10193 Miguel. The Portuguese midfielder is closing in on making an appearance for Zenit after recovering from a knee injury last season.
Byshovets urged Miguel, commonly known as Danny, to get match fitness in order to put the struggling Russian outfit back on track.
