The Borussia Monchengladbach defender has expressed his delight after signing for the Munich giants and expects to win trophies at his new club.
Borussia Monchengladbach centre back, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dante-c10236, has expressed his delight to play for Bayern Munich from next season onwards. The Brazilian had long negotiations with the Reds’ officials and his transfer was eventually confirmed by
the Gladbach bosses.
Dante mentioned that he is looking forward to win silverware with his new employers and is pleased with the way things have moved forward in the recent weeks. He mused that Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in Europe and it will
be an honour for him to play for them.
The former Lille defender stated that it was extremely hard for him to turn down an offer from one of the biggest clubs. He admitted that he had always been in search of trophies and found it a golden opportunity for himself to
win silverware while playing for the record Bundesliga winners.
While talking to Globoesporte, the 28-year-old further added: "With a team like Bayern Munich, you don't have to think about it. They're one of the top five clubs in the world, and to come to a club of this size was always one
of my goals. It's great to feel important within their project."
On the other hand, Dante also aims to help the young Bayern defenders during his four-year stay at the club. He specified that there are a number of young players in Bayern’s side who need further polishing and would love to train
them with his past experience at different clubs.
"There are two young centre-backs and I think I can help them. Club officials told me clearly to rely on my experience - they're very good, but they're new. They want to blend youth with a little more experience, and I want to
help them get what they always expect: winning titles," Dante concluded.
The Brazilian has so far represented The Foals on 91 occasions bagging eight goals in return. Gladbach’s game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FSV-Mainz-05-c38166 this weekend will be Dante’s last game for the club before he makes a move to the Allianz Arena.
