The recent Bayern Munich recruit has vowed to win titles with his new club after signing from Borussia Monchengladbach this year.
Dante has expressed his desire to win silverware with Bayern Munich after spending three-and-a-half trophy-less years at the Borussia-Park. He mentioned that it has always been his desire to win trophies but unfortunately has not
been able to fulfil his dreams with Monchengladbach.
The Brazilian had been plying his trade with The Foals since 2009 but has not won any major silverware. The former Standard Liege player had always wished to play for a big-name club and expressed his pleasure to sign for one of
the best clubs in Europe.
Dante also mused that it might be his last chance to win silverware especially at this time of his career. He told that it was always beyond doubt to sign for the Reds once there was an official approach made by the Allianz Arena
officials.
While talking to Express, the 28-year-old further added: "Since I have been at Borussia, I've always said what my goals are. Bayern Munich is one of those goals - I have always wanted to play for one of the biggest clubs in the
world. I am very happy that the move will happen. I'm at an age where I have to accept such an offer. This is my last chance to achieve something great.”
On the other hand, the Brazilian admitted that it will not be an easy for him to cement his place in Bayern’s starting line-up considering the quality Bayern have in defence. He is determined to impress his new bosses and force
his way into the playing XI which is already blessed with quality names like Holger Badstuber, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Philipp-Lahm-c29929 and Jerome Boateng.
"I do not think any player who signs a contract with Bayern is so naive as to believe that he has a safe, regular place. I must show my quality every day. This is the case with every big club. Whether it is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, Milan, Real
Madrid and elsewhere."
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dante-c10236 has so far made 77 league appearances for the Foals netting eight goals during the process. He has two more league games to spare before his departure from the Borussia-Park at the end of this campaign.
