The Borussia Monchengladbach defender is hopeful of a determined performance against Hannover in the Bundesliga clash at the weekend.
Dante has confirmed that the game against Hannover will not be an easy outing for his side. He was talking ahead of the tie on Sunday, April 1, at the AWD-Arena. The Foals emerged as 2-1 winners the last time these two teams met
this season at the Borussia-Park.
The Brazilian admitted that the Reds are difficult to beat at home and Gladbach would need to keep their concentration levels high throughout the course of the game. He also stressed the Foals must ensure that they make best use
of their chances as the hosts will be hard to break in front of goal.
While talking to Paddock Talk, the 28-year-old defender further added:
"It will be a complicated game, where both teams are fighting for a place in an European competition. The two teams will play to achieve the result and we have to concentrate in order to get the win. Playing there in Hannover is
complicated. We have to work defensively, and we will to try to seize the opportunities.”
On the other hand, Dante claimed that his side can still finish in the top three despite Schalke taking a two-point lead. He mused that the remaining seven games are extremely important for Gladbach to achieve their aim of finishing
in the top three. He advised his teammates to take every game as a final and try gaining maximum points in order to finish the season on a high.
"Schalke passed Borussia on the standings and we still have seven games left. We have to focus game by game and think about our game. We have to concentrate in every game left and is also important not think about the other teams.
A victory there will be very important for Borussia," http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dante-c10236 concluded.
The Borussia-Park outfit is currently fourth in the league standings with 51 points and a win over Die Roten could take them past the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Royal-95-c40387 Blues at the third spot.
