The Bayern Munich defender is aiming for a long career at the Allianz Arena and is delighted with the team’s strong start to the season.
The Bavarian giants are currently on the top of the Bundesliga standings table with six points from the two games played. The team has won both the games and is certainly one of the favourites to win the title at the end of the
season.
Dante, who joined Bayern Munich in this summer’s transfer window from Borussia Monchengladbach for an undisclosed fee, is willing to end his career with his new side. The player admitted that if he is given a chance, he will definitely
take it.
The Brazilian signed a four-year contract to stay with the Munich based outfit and is hopeful of repaying the faith Bayern have put in him.
“I'd take it at once if Bayern offer me the chance to retire here. I have a four-year contract, and I'm delighted to be here. I'm not thinking about any other clubs. I'll give everything I have in these four years and attempt to
repay the faith shown in me,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The former Gladbach man claimed that he is thoroughly enjoying his time at the club and is delighted with the team’s excellent start to the new season. He added that the fans are very supportive and his teammates have helped him
very much since the start of the campaign.
The defender is enjoying the life in Munich and has a strong feeling that the club will return to glory this season. Dante admitted that it has been two long years since Bayern won their last trophy and remained confident that
this season will be a successful one for his team.
“My time here has been outstanding so far. It all works so well together, the club, the stadium, the fans, my new team-mates. I have a super, positive feeling. I really like Munich,” he concluded.
