Darcy Dasher set to dash competitors in Maiden Dup
Darcy Dasher is all set to give enough tough time to her competitors and finish on the podium in the Bookmakers 550 Maiden Dup, an Open Race that will be held at Henlow racecourse on Thursday night, May 10.
When the action begins at 20:45 (GMT), the P. Simmonds-trained black b***h will break from Trap 5 to compete against four rivals including Savana Lucas, Diamond Crash, Cullinan Gem and Bodell Bernina. A prize cheque of £150 will be distributed among all
the hounds.
Darcy Dasher delivered some outstanding performances during the last couple of months. The three-year-old veteran hound excellently won a race each on March 30 and April 20.
The brilliant b***h also gained two runner-up ranks in the month of April. She also accomplished many glaring feats in 2011. As a whole, the talented daughter of Dods Delight out of Coolcullen Rose owns a terrific track record.
Despite being a non-favourite runner, Darcy Dasher will surely make a big impact in tonight’s marathon. If she manages to capitalise well on her capabilities and the form produced by her recent achievements, her chances to thrive in the Dup will be as high
as 90 percent.
Among the other hounds, Bodell Bernina and Cullinan Gem are likely to do well in the coming contest.
Bodell Bernina delivered a few eye-catching performances during the last month, gaining two runner-up ranks. The H. Kemp-trained white and black b***h finished 3rd in each of the last two races of her career. The b***h’s last victory came on March
30, 2012. She is going to run in the Dup with a favourite band around her waist.
On the other hand, Cullinan Gem accomplished an outstanding triumph on March 23, 2012. P. Crawley’s black b***h moved ahead to finish second in a big race on April 20. Overall, she has immense experience under her belt.
Though the competition will be neck-to-neck but Darcy Dasher is likely to manoeuvre success to her favour convincingly. Her struggle for victory will be fantastic to watch. Let us enjoy an amazing action tonight. Good luck to all the runners.
