Daredevils will bounce back, says Unmukt Chand – Cricket News Update
Despite having gotten off to a tumultuous start to the ongoing season six of the lucrative Indian Premier League (IPL), losing three matches in a row, emerging Delhi batsman Unmukt Chand is confident his side would make a strong comeback into the tournament, and has the potential to reach the playoffs.
Chand, the 20-year-old right-handed top order batsman, feels it just a matter of time before they bounce back.
"We haven't started as well as we would have liked to. We are a capable side. It's a long tournament and I am sure we will certainly bounce back," said India's Under-19 World Cup winning captain Unmukt Chand while speaking to media reporters in Bangalore on Thursday, April 11, 2013.
After having three matches so far, Delhi Daredevils are yet to win a game. They started their IP 2013 campaign with a six wicket defeat at the hands of defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders, before losing a nail-biter to Rajasthan Royals by five runs. Their third and final defeat of the tournament so far came at the hands of Mumbai Indians, where they feel short of 44 runs, while chasing an intimidating target of 210 runs.

Asked about his struggling form, Chand said that failures were part of the game and hoped to perform well in the upcoming matches.
"These (failures) are part and parcel of the game. But, I am trying to learn from my mistakes. In the upcoming matches, I will try to get myself in and make sizeable contributions," said the 20-year-old http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Delhi-c780 batsman.
Unmukt further said he has grown as a batsman in the last one year. "Lot of things have changed since the U-19 World Cup win last year. I am better prepared than last year. Hopefully I will be able to score more runs in the other matches."
