  1. There really isn't anything major you can do. Its like Rwanda, the UN helped but they only have to much support and so much soldiers, and there are just so many other issues going on in the world that a small, not well known, country isn't going to get that much attention no matter what the issue is. The US refused to help because truthfully people just didn't care enough, awareness of genocide in Rwanda was raised, and people did care about the issue, but not enough to send in troops to do anything about it. It would be nice if we could just send in troops and resolve the issue, but it just can't be done. If we did then we would be expected to help ALL countries in crisis, there are just too many, and it would get too expensave. We need to spend our money on our own problems, such as the war in Iraq...which is costing us $720 million dollars...A DAY! Personally, I think the war in Iraq is over nothing and having troops thereis pointless and stupid, but many disagree and thats why we're still in this war.

Wouldn't is be awesome if we could end violence in the world? The best thing we can do is raise awareness and educate people on these horrible issues. Maybe in doing this we can make people more caring and loving and the fighting would end. This website gives a list of things we can do to help with the crisis in Darfur. Tell all your friends about it and tell them to tell other people about it. It might not help enough to actually do something for Darfur, but when the next crisis like this happens, people are more likely to want to do something about it.

(And by the way you would think people would care more about this especially because of the movie Hotel Rwanda.)

  2. Bomb Khartoum and shoot down the Sudanese air force.  Also contribute some Blackhawk transport helicopters and some Apache attack helicopters to the AU peacekeeping force.

  3. Bush could stop complaining about China's ignoring human rights in

China and try to convince the Chinese government to straighten out Darfut's problems which they could do in a heart beat if they only wanted to since they own all of Africa as it is!

  4. Any "peacekeeping" I've ever heard about have actually made things worse.
