Daring Panther to trouble Gilford Driver and A Cert in SIS Live 350 at Shelbourne Park
Daring Panther’s odds are slightly lower than Gilford Driver and A Cert, but his chances are no less. The brindle dog should be treated equally in the SIS Live 350, going down at Shelbourne Park on Thursday, October 4th.
Although Daring Panther’s recent stats are not very impressive, a favourable draw makes him a solid option. The son of Run On Boy is due to start from the sixth trap, and it cuts down his possibilities of getting crowded.
Taking an early lead is always helpful in a race of this nature. Daring Panther has a great opportunity to establish his dominance in the beginning and if he does so, he will surely become unbeatable.
He recently won a S2 meeting at Kilky. In the 299 yards contest, he attained a handsome lead in the beginning. By showing early pace, he put the rest under a lot of pressure, and eventually clinched the first place by three and a half lengths.
Other participants are: Gilford Driver, A Cert, Wheres Donie, Significant Bet and Leeview Dave. The action is due to begin at 21:46 GMT. The successful hound will leave the park with a handy prize worth €225.
Wheres Donie is enjoying the red box advantage, but his fresh form is bad enough to predict a defeat. A Cert sealed a couple of terrific wins before his recent loss. The black dog was unable to go well at the top level, and finished fourth behind Bulmers
Baby. We expect his misery to continue at this level.
Significant Bet is in terrible form these days. He recently suffered three defeats in this class. Gilford Driver won a GR event, but his record at the open level is not good. The black dog was fourth on his previous two trips in this class. Leeview Dave
seems to have no chance whatsoever after ending up fifth last twice.
Even though Daring Panther’s recent strike was in the lower grade, it would have given him some confidence. He is all set to perform above expectations, and take the game away from Gilford Driver and A Cert. Good luck to all the hounds.
