I recognise the quote and I've searched some Darius forums for you but I haven't found it yet.

Could you please tell me if it came from a written interview, TV interview or the TCM documentary maybe?

At the three performances of GWTW I saw, the audience gave the cast and especially Jill Paice and Darius a rousing standing ovation. Most critics said he was outstanding, talented, commanding and charismatic as Rhett, and they also praised his ability to sustain his Southern accent and his extraordinary bass baritone voice, so different from his 'pop' voice.
