Dark Hardwoods?

I have beautiful Dark Hardwood Floors, however, any time anyone steps a foot on them, a print shows as clear as day. I mop at least 4 times a week. Does anyone have any tricks to keeping them clean? I have been to other's homes that do not seem to have the same issue. Any advice? Thank you so much!

Use Vinegar and water instead of floor cleaners. The polish/wax in many hardwood floor cleaners leaves a buildup, causing footprints when you walk on them.

yes same problem clean them very well.  rent a low speed floor waxer/buffer and use paste wax it's made for hardwoods it works wonderful.  It will give them a great shine I do it about 2 times a year.  Then you basically just have to dust them.  It holds up in my house with 5 labs it's a pain you have to let the wax dry about 20 minutes but it is worth it to only have to do it 2 times a year depending on the traffic in your house maybe you will only have to do it once a year.
