Dark Teal and Rose??

I'm going to have a Dark Teal and Rose color wedding. Any Inspiration Boards or pictures?? ideas??

hi, i think this is a lovely choice, it would also be nice to introduce a third colour in there as both these colours are very strong e.g. white? for my wedding im having a lighter teal with off white coral and white

I think its lovely when the bridesmaids have flowers with flowers just a tone or two lighter than the dress colour, so how about, dark teal, rose pink and in the flowers a duck egg blue shade?

Run the other way and hide, that color pallet is awful.

When I think of dark teal and rose, the firs thing that comes to mind is the ocean and sea shells.

My wedding colors are also dark teal and dark pink (watermelon and oasis from David's Bridal).  I have no idea when yours is, but I would love to share all of the ideas we have for you.  My wedding is Oct. 4, 2008, so that will still be early in your planning process, you can email me and I'll send you the pictures of decorations, etc. once the wedding is over.

A few things we have:

* dark teal ribbon for a dollar on sale at Michael's

* Two different tents at the reception (it's outside).  One will be all teal and silver and maybe some light pink and will be the calmer, food tent.  The dancing tent where the bridal party will eat will be all the dark pink and just pink everywhere and will just be crazy.

* Teal is a hard shade to find decorations for, but if you start early and keep your eyes open, you can find some stuff.

* Pier One has some candles in a dark teal right now, and I think they are on sale (I'm not crazy about the scent, but they match perfectly!)

That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but like I said, I will share every idea with you if you'd like, so just email me if you want to know more.

p.s. He's from the West Coast and I'm from the East Coast, so we're bringing in a light beach theme (not over the top) of "Coast to Coast".  The calmer teal tent will be the east coast and the tables will be named after SC beaches.  The crazy tent will be named after beaches near him in Cali.  The girl above me did have a great point that those are perfect beach colors if you also want to go in a beachy direction, and there are tons of beach accessories on theknot.com and other sites like that.  Also, go to getmarried.com and theknot.com for ideas, and on theknot.com, you can even look up ideas according to color!

It's a beautiful colour combo.  I wanted those colours - though my 'teal' ended up being a bit more green.  Hopefully these pics give you some more ideas...

I'm really not sure, that's kind of odd, I'm not sure how many good color combinations you can make/find with those colors.
